Keynote Speaker

Dr. Mark MajeskyDr. Mark Majesky, Ph.D.

Director of Myocardial Regenerative Initiative, Center for Tissue and Cell Sciences at Seattle Children's Hospital, Research and Foundation, WA., Director of the Myocardial Regeneration Initiative at Seattle Children's Institute and professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington, Dr. Majesky is the 2013 James O. Davis Distinguished Lecturer.

An internationally recognized expert in the field of stem cell biology, Dr. Majesky uses molecular, biological and developmental genetic approaches to address fundamental questions in the development and differentiation of blood vessels.  He will be giving a keynote lecture "Development and Diversity of the Artery Wall".
